Allred was a friend of Dobie and also was one of three contributors, along with Fred Renner and Jeff Dykes, for "The Old Bookaroos" three men who reviewed Western Americana books for publications. Christmas keepsake from Bertha and Frank Dobie. "Christmas 1954: This tale has no Wise Men wisdom and maybe none of any other kind, but the cheerful ending makes us say to friends, Que vivan contentos". Fine, bright copy.
