First edition. 9" x 8" in pictorial wrappers, printed in green and black, and folded in half. Scene on cover wrapper shows a car-full of people traveling through mountains along with a small picture of Buffalo Bill at the bottom corner. Scene on rear wrapper shows a bear sitting on the side of a hill as 2 cars drive through a pass. 12 pp., illustrations, map. Overview of the area and what the tourist will see on the route. Large photographs on each page to include pictures of Sylvan Lake, Sylvan Pass, the road crossing The Corkscrew Bridge, Chimney Rock, a dude ranch, The Holy City, and a variety of scenic photographs. Photographs attributed to Hiscock, Hallenbeck, Stinton, Curtis, and Haynes. Also sketches in green ink on each page showing wildlife, cabins, scenery, Buffalo Bill, etc. At center is a 1 1/4" x 14 3/4" map detailing the route from Cody to Yellowstone Park, a total of 90 miles. Map on rear panel details the Burlington Route from Chicago to Seattle and Portland and south to Galveston and New Orleans and inset is an illustration of the Burlington's Inn at Cody. Splitting along edge of spine and with 1/4" closed tear to fold, with all splitting being repaired with pieces of cellophane tape. Light soiling to wrapper and with wear to fold.
