10 3/4" x 8 7/8" oblong pictorial wrappers, n. p. [16 pp], illustrated. Sainte Anne-de- Beaupre' is a town in La Cote-de-Beaupre Regional Municipality, Quebec, Canada along the St. Lawrence River northeast of Quebec City. It has been credited by the Catholic Church with many miracles of curing the sick and disabled. It is an important Catholic sanctuary which receives a half-million pilgrims each year. The basilica was initially a shrine to honor Saint Anne, the patron saint of sailors. This booklet provides full page views of the Cyclorama Buliding, the Basilica, several interior scenes of the Basilica, arrival of pilgrims by boat, the pyramid of crutches, and several religious scenes. The original basilica was destroyed by fire in 1922 and rebuilt in 1926. Oversized wrappers lightly rubbed at the extremities, else a very good copy.
