7 7/8" x 11 1/4" oblong in taupe pictorial wrappers with illustrations of an Eskimo, an elk pulling a sled and a dog team on the front wrapper. Tied at spine. 32 pages of black and white photographs. Includes pictures of rocking on Nome Beach, passengers landing in Nome, Fishing on the Berring Sea, Eskimos in Nome, main street, grave sites, Eskimo priests, Ft. Davis, freighting with reindeer, Placer mining camp, Dawson City, Eskimos drying fish, etc. First page with 1/4" closed tear, 2 pages with chipping to side edges and one of those 2 pages has 1 1/2" closed tear. Light soiling and with minor wear to the extremities. A nice collection of very interesting photographs.
