Seventeen 24.8 x 20.2 cm (9 3/4" x 7 3/4") black & white photographs of the various stages of construction from start to finish of the Ford J, Twaits Company office building at the corners of Maryland & Boylston Streets, Los Angeles, CA. The project began 8-14-1941 and was completed 11-21-1941. Most of the photographs are backed with linen and each is stamped on the back "News Pictures, Ltd., Business Photography, 619 North Windsor Boulevard, Los Angeles, Cal., GLadstone 3512." The Ford J. Twaits Company was prominent in Los Angeles during the World War II time period. Very good condition.
