Fine, bright copy in dust jacket with light wear to the edges, reinforced with a strip of cellophane tape to the verso at the head of spine, tiny chip to the bottom corner of the rear flap fold, light wear to the foot of spine and top front corner, and a few small closed tears on rear cover held on the verso with archival tissue. Mrs. Horton was fatally poisoned by a pill containing cyanide and her son seeks the help of Roger Bennion, the famous criminal investigator. Mrs. Horton's nurse, who is the fiancee of her son, falls under suspicion of murder since she was nursing Mrs. Horton during her fatal illness.
