This report examines Alaska, its extent, physical characteristics, climate, and its people. Numerous photographs show schools in various parts of Alaska and much information is provided regarding the need for industrial training, moral training, advance student requirements, etc. The need for obligatory attendance, school buildings, transportation, school supplies, qualified teachers, the importance of education to the development of Alaska, etc. Small scuff to front cover, a foldout map of Alaska is provided and is in fine condition. Overall, a very good copy.
