First edition. Deluxe edition limited to 200 copies signed by the author. Red simulated leather, xv [3],. 237(2) pp., frontispiece in color, illustrated. Attached to the front free fly leaf is a handwritten note from Homer Britzman, the publisher, discussing the book. Also an inked presentation note signed and dated by the publisher on the half title page. A "Poddy" is an orphaned calf; the author was a "poddy" boy who became a top cowhand in many parts of the west in this century. He started in his home state of Texas and into Montana and Wyoming. This is his autobiography. Fine in dust jacket with minor wear to the extremities.
