Affixed to the front pastedown sheet is a letter from a prominent Dallas book collector stating that this copy and one other was signed on page 90 by Jack C. Russell, the adopted and only child of Charles M. Russell. Page 90 shows Jack Russell with his father. Additionally this copy is signed and dated on the front free fly leaf by Michael A. Wilder, then Director of the Amon Carter Museum. Reproduces, with some in color. over 100 of Russell's wonderfully illustrated letters to his friends, and further enhanced by Renner's insightful comments for each letter. Fine copy with the transparent, protective dust jacket.
