First edition. 10 3/4" x 8 1/2" handwritten letter on Buffalo Bill's Wild West Combined With Pawnee Bill's Great Far East letterhead stationery. The letter is written in "Boston" dated "May 20th" (no year given, but circa 1910), and is addressed to "Dear George." Apparently George had written previously about a meeting with "Buffalo Bill" and he responds by saying "But George you know that I can't leave the show for even one performance or every newspaper in the U. S. would have it that he was not with the show." Cody follows up later by writing "Maybe we could all get together when I get near Buffalo and we could close up the old company you speak of." He finishes the letter by saying "I am feeling fine and business immense. Yours, W. F. Cody." Cody mentions in the letter that "Major Lillie was at home in Oklahoma with his sick wife. G. W. Lillie was also known as "Pawnee Bill. Faint fold creases else a near fine letter.
