The town of Ojibway, now a Keweenaw County ghost town. opened a copper mine in 1907, located approximately one-half mile from the site of the town. The copper mine was the primary source of employment for the community and it was closed in 1941, which has left the old town in ruins and a ghost town for many years. Fine copy.
