8 1/2" x 4" pictorial wrappers printed in red and black on white paper stock, 8 pp. (including covers) with an extra pictorial leaf laid-in, illustrated, portrait, map. The Ocklawaha and St. Johns Navigation Company (The Hart Line), was established in 1860 by Colonel H. L. Hart and this is its 39th tourist season. The steamship line began after the Civil War with the running of steamboats from Palatka to Silver Springs. Views of the steamships on the Ocklawaha River are provided including on the extra laid-in leaf. A map shows the Hart Line Route of 135 miles of winding river from Palatka to Silver Springs. As the "crow flies" the distance is about 50 miles. Deck plans for the steamships "Hiawatha" and "Okeehumkee" are shown. Spine panel is rubbed and covers lightly soiled, spine split 6" at center, else a good copy.
