Not a whole lot is known about this author, though she wrote more than 20 novels under her own name and several espionage titles using the pseudonym Charles Leonard. This book features Rick Vanner, a detective who investigates the murder of Celeste Mather, wealthy and a complete egotist. Celeste stole the affections of other women's husbands, other people's money, even her own husband's integrity.
