6" x 8" in brown pebbled cloth with title (Photographs) in silver. 52pp. with photographs on 22 pp. Each pages offers 4 - 1 1/2" x 2" black and white photographs with brief caption below most photos. Photographs include cowboys at Monticello Fair in Illinois; views of Thornton to include and men riding horses, a thrashing machine at work, farm animals, relatives sitting on porch visiting, etc.; photographs of Pioneer include a train coming into the station, Main street, Hotel de Zebs (?), thrashing machine, driving in the slough, the post office, well drillers digging a well, laying tile on SW #35, lumber yard, etc.; also includes photographs of Main Street Humboldt, Indians, "Chief of the Saxon Fox Tribe (Black Hawk)," State Fair Grounds and State House in Des Moines, Humboldt breeder J.J. Smart, photographs of horse named Ding-a-Ling, etc. Photographs are fine. Album covers are lightly soiled and rubbed. A nice diverse selection of photos.
