First edition. 11 1/2" x 8 1/4" in bright, colorful pictorial wrappers. Alan R. Woolworth's copy. 40 pp. Foreword. Illustrations. Information broken down into four sections to include Early History, The Eskimo, The Indians, and Fur Traders. Profusely illustrated. "Three of the four sections - Eskimos, Indians, and Fur Traders - consist largely of photographs depicting some of the most interesting objects in the exhibit. Accompanying each photograph is a picture relating to the use of the object in its natural setting." Attached to top of title page is a compliment card with Alan R. Woolworth's name written at top. Woolworth had a long career with the Minnesota Historical Society as museum curator, head of Museum and Historic Sites Department, chief archaeologist, and research fellow. Light soiling to wrappers and with light wear to spine and extremities and tiny chip missing at bottom corner of front wrapper. Very good.
