Publication: Written by G W Lillie, 1913, Pawnee, Oklahoma
11" x 8 1/2" letter on Pawnee Bill's Buffalo Ranch, Pawnee, Oklahoma stationery dated Jan. 25th, 1913, and addressed to "Friend Miller." In the letter Lillie advises that he has enclosed a letter that he feels was intended for Miller. He further says: "Some time ago you offered me your water buffalo - If they are still for sale, Kindly let me know how many you have, their ages, and what you want for them. Are they gentled and can they be driven and ridden? I would not want them at any price unless I could use them in parade." Signed G. W. Lillie, Pawnee, Okla. A few faint fold creases and one small closed tear at a horizontal crease an small old paperclip mark, and a small pin hole where something was attached at one time, else a very good letter. We wonder if "Friend Miller" may refer to one of the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch ?
