First edition. A miniature book (2 1/4' x 2 3/4") and is a single short story apparently issued by Cosmopolitan Magazine, where many of the Wallingford stories first appeared. Get-Rich-Quick-Wallingford is a Queen's Quorum title. Queen's Quorum 39 says, "The grandiose Get-Rich-Quick Wallingford started his big time bamboozling and no apter description of the book can be devised than its own subtitle: A Cheerful Account of the Rise and Fall of an American Business Buccaneer." "Stories to the live business men of America, those who have been "stung" and those who have yet to undergo that painful experience." A book of stories built about a single theme of the separation of the fool and his money. This issue in miniature format is very rare and quite attractive as both the front cover and the frontispiece are in full color. Additionally on the inside rear cover is an advertisement that says "The World's Best Short Stories now presented with Egyptienne "STRAIGHTS" cigarettes, PICCADILLY little cigars, SOVEREIGN cigarettes. One story accompanying each package. 100 Titles ready --- more in preparation." Seems as if the stories were made available through tobacco purchases.
