Four people (3 women & 1 man) made an extended trip to Europe and photographed and recorded the entire journey. They visited three European countries and show us a map of the cities and towns on their route for each country as they made their way. They visited France, Italy, and Switzerland. The album begins after crossing the English Channel and entering France through Dover. This if followed by a hand-drawn color map of the portion on France that they visited, noting each city along the way. Thirteen pages are devoted to their initial visit into France where they visited Dover, Arras, Reims, Epernay, and Dijon. Following those pages is a hand-drawn color map of the portion of Switzerland that they visited, again noting the cities along their journey. In Switzerland they visited Montreux, Sion, Brig, and Simplon Pass. Twelve pages are devoted to their visit to Switzerland. These pages are followed by a hand drawn color map of the portion of Italy visited which include Pallanza, the Borromean Islands, Milan, Stresa, Venice, Padua, Montova, Rapallo, Portofino, etc. Forty-one pages are devoted to Itlay. These pages are followed by a printed map, again showing their route. This visit included Cape Martin, Mentone, Monaco, Beaulieu, Nice, Cannes, Avignon, etc. and finally back to Dover. This time seventeen pages are devoted to their final visit to France. The majority of photographs are of historic buildings, statues, monuments, churches, hotels, street scenes, harbor scenes, aerial views, waterway scenes, tourist sights, etc., all with neat captions written in white ink against the black paper background. This album provides pictures and information to rank as a wonderful geography tour. Fine, bright copy.
