The second volume in Charteris's series that features his internationally famous anti-hero Simon Templar, als known as The Saint. Templar made his debut in the 1928 novel "Meet The Tiger," the author was dissatisfied with the book and declared that its only value was to introduce the character and further stating that the series actually began with Enter The Saint.
