First edition. 8vo. Tan pictorial wrappers, 32 pp., illustrated. The catalog opens with awnings, store awnings, and drop porch or roller curtains. There are also numerous pages of illustrated tents, stable tents, miner's tents, photographer's tents, palmetto lawn tents and the specialized in "Black Tents for Moving Pictures." Camp furniture is also illustrated including folding camp beds, porch chairs and fishing seine nets. The company was founded by James Dougherty (b. 1856) and Michael Dougherty (b. 1858) sometime prior to 1880. Later the company would be run and developed by Dilg (1878-1953) who in 1910 had patented a device for attaching stay-ropes to tent-poles. No copies found on WorldCat, 1 copy for 1917 located at the Henry Ford. This copy retains the original discount price sheet for 1911. Small ink droplet on front cover else a fine, bright copy.
