Pictures include Death Valley from Dante's View, Telescope Peak, Ryan, the community center at Death Valley Junction, Furnace Creek, Furnace Creek Ranch, ruins of the Harmony Borax Works, important buildings, etc. Although Death Valley would not become a National Monument until 1933, and a National Park until 1994, it was famous for being the hottest, driest and lowest location in the United States. Light wear to spine and to the extremities else a very good copy. This booklet contains much information on Death Valley and should not be overlooked as a source of information on Death Valley.
