There are two folded views of Colorado Springs showing prominent homes, business buildings, etc. A well done overview of the gold mining industry and the prosperity it brought to the region, with 18 double column pages with details on all area companies and their holdings. Also views of the large hotels, resorts, opera houses, railroads, etc. that flourished in the region. Red stamp of the Pikes Peak Tunnel Mining Railway on front and rear covers and with a blueprint map of their line laid-in. Covers lightly soiled, 3" section at top of spine is removed, interior is clean, all maps are in fine condition, overall a very good copy.
