First edition. Original 6 1/4" x 4" pictorial stiff wrappers printed in green and black, stapled, 32 pp., plus 17" x 28" folding map affixed to the inside rear cover. A motoring guide to Montana, with an index and map. “The index of Montana cities and towns gives populations, post offices, counties, railways, elevations, location key, resources, industries, news dealers, garages, hotels and banks.” The map shows national parks and forests in green, with railroads in black and motorways printed in red. For the most part, the roads follow the railways, connecting towns and the profusion of national parks that cover the western end of the state. We locate two copies in OCLC, at the New York Public Library (under the title “Index to Map of Montana”) and the University of Wyoming (under the title “Clason’s Guide: Map of Montana”). Folding map printed in color and in fine condition, a few top corners lightly creased, else a near fine, bright copy.
