Sixth edition. 3 5/8" x 8 3/8" color pictorial wrappers, 20 pp., illustrated. Time tables for trains leaving to and from Chicago to San Francisco and the Pacific Coast from San Diego up to Seattle. They promote "THE OVERLAND LIMITED" SAN FRANCISCO TO CHICAGO, TIME 3 1/2 DAYS. They further promote the only train West of the Missouri River carrying buffet, smoking and library cars. Magnificently equipped with Pullman Palace double drawing room sleepers, Pullman dining cars, free reclining chair cars, Pintsch lights, etc. Pictured on the front cover is Dale Creek Bridge and the Devil's Slide, and in the interior a picture of the "Overland Limited, Engine 845, on the Union Pacific. In the center is a four panel color map of the Chicago, Union Pacific & North-Western Line. Depicts from Chicago westward to San Francisco and the Pacific Coast with all stations en route named. Interestingly Tascosa and Goodnight located in the Texas Panhandle are listed as stations, but the towns no longer exist. Covers lightly rubbed else interior is clean and bright, and overall near fine.
