First edition. PBO. Dell 9308. A novelization of producer/director/screenwriter Carl Foreman's film version of Alexander Baron's WW II novel, The Human Kind. Foreman left the US for England after refusing to "name names" for Senator Joseph McCarthy, where he wrote screenplays, usually anonymously or under an alias, for a number of great films directed by Joseph Losey and others. The Victors, which he produced himself, was not one of the great ones. Small crease to lower corner of front cover, else very good in pictorial wrappers.
