10" x 13" flexible black pebbled leather boards. 60 pp. of photographs plus photographs on insides of front and rear covers. 271 black and white photographs ranging in size from 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" to 3 1/2" x 5 3/4." Photographs include cowboys, beach scenes, entry road to Mt. Wilson, Catalina, pier, Wells Fargo bank building, motels, hotels, houses, water pumps, street scenes, movie poster of the film "The Round Up," stage coach pulled by 4 mules, mountains and seascapes, several pictures of various cars (one car with California plate and the year 1914 clearly visible), waterfalls, family picnics, several snow-covered mountain scenes with individuals playing, sitting on boulders, etc., women riding on burros, hearse, scenes aboard the Santa Rosa, field plowing scenes where men and women are driving the mules, etc. Most interesting are the clothes of both men and women throughout as well as the extravagant hats that the women are wearing. Approximately 12 photographs missing. Those present are fine or near fine. Very good.
