Includes illustrations of the locomotive, the express and baggage car, the day coach, the pullman sleeper, the dining car, the observation car, the box car, the coal car, the cattle car, the gondola, the tank car and the caboose. Scenes include the Fast Express at full speed, The Limited leaving the train yards, an electric train in the mountains, a stream-line motor train, the turnabout and roundhouse, etc. Inside front cover is an illustration in brown ink of the engineer and fireman. Inside rear cover is an illustration in brown ink of the conductor, trainman, and porter. Light soiling throughout with heavier soiling to top edge of 3rd page. Rubbing and and wear to extremities of cover boards. A beautifully produced item.
