First edition. 8vo. Cloth, ix[1], 128 [2] pp. Frontispiece [picture], foreword, illustrated from photographs. Memoirs of an Arizona pioneer who went by the nickname of "Arkansas." Connell arrived in Prescott in 1874, and there resided until his death in 1932. This is the first publication of his memoirs which were dictated to his daughter in 1928-29. There is some material on Buckey O'Neil and lawlessness. Bookplate of Betty D. & Paul Hofmann Collection, donated in 1979 to The Arizona Historical Society Library. Very good copy.
