Limited to 100 copies of which half of the edition went to the author, and half going to Don R. Ornduff, editor of The American Hereford Journal, who was instrumental in the production of the discursive memoir. A record of observations and warm reflections by Haley after he and Earl Vandale visited the well-known rancher and colorful character, Dan D. Casement at his home near Manhattan, Kansas. Robinson 17 says "100 copies only were printed; half of the edition went to the author, and half going to Don R. Ornduff, editor of the JOURNAL, who was instrumental in the production of this discursive memoir." Blue cover fore-edges lightly tanned, else an as new, unread copy
