5 1/2" x 3 1/2" printed wrappers, 28 pp., portrait, advertisement for the Northern Pacific Railroad on back cover, "The Pioneer Line Through Minnesota, Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon to the Pacific Northwest." Compiled to celebrate Fuller's 72nd birthday. He was born in 1824, started working for newspapers in 1842, in New Hampshire, moved west Through Chicago and Salt Lake City, and has been in Tacoma for the past 14 years. Edward N. Fuller (1824-1904) spent over 50 years in the newspaper business and was a newspaper editor and publisher in Tacoma and was Press Historian for the Washington Press Association. He arrived in Washington Territory in 1882, and attempted to collect and preserve all of the first numbers of papers published possible to obtain. His collection was given to the Washington State University by the Washington State Historical Society in about 1980. Very good copy.
