Your Account First time users may set up an account with us at any time by clicking on the “Your Account” links at the top and bottom of all our Web pages, however, this is not required in order to browse through the pages of our site. All new customers must establish an account with us at the time they place their first order online. All account information is handled through a secure server, so you will be asked to provide your email address and create a unique password to assure that your information remains available only to you. Returning customers who have previously established an account with us may use the secure "Your Account" feature to personalize their online experience. We will ask you for your email address and password whenever you access a secure portion of our site in order to make sure that your private information is available only to you. We can help you with the ordering process or will be happy to take your order over the phone, via fax, or postal mail if you prefer. Here's a brief overview of our ordering process: When you are ready to checkout, you can click the “Shopping Cart” link at the top or bottom of any page, verify that the items in your cart are correct, then click the “Checkout” button on the Shopping Cart page. If you are a returning customer, we will provide you with the opportunity to log in, otherwise you will be asked to create an account at that time. Step 1: Billing Information As a new customer, you will need to enter your enter billing information, including your name, company if applicable, address, city, state, zip, country, phone and email address. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk (*). Providing us with a telephone number where you can be reached allows us to contact you in case there are any questions or issues regarding your order, helping us to assure that your order is not delayed. Your e-mail address is required for us to send you confirmation of your order. Please see our Privacy Policy regarding the use of your personal information. You will be asked if the billing information you provided is also the shipping information for this order. If you check the box, your shipping information will be pre-filled for you, otherwise, you will need to complete the input fields for the shipping information for this order. When you are satisfied that the information is correct, continue to the next step by clicking on the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page. Step 2: Payment Method Pennsylvania residents must add 6% sales tax. Orders are shipped upon confirmation of payment. Shipping charges within the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. are $8.50 USD for the first item and $2.00 USD for each additional item. Over-sized and books in slipcases shipped within the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. will be charged at a rate of $10.00 USD for the first item and $2.00 USD for each additional item. Items valued at $300.00 USD and higher will be charged additional insurance. It is our preference to ship via UPS, Priority Mail, or Media Mail. All shipments outside of the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. will be charged actual shipping, insurance, and handling costs. All parcels are shipped insured. If there are any changes from the above in the shipping and handling charges for your order, Buckingham Books will contact you for approval PRIOR TO processing your payment. Your credit card will NOT be charged until your order ships. Buckingham Books Return Policy: All items may be returned within seven (7) days of receipt, with prior notification. We request that any items for return be sent by their original shipping route, are well packaged and fully insured. A credit card type must be selected from the available options. Enter the credit card number and expiration date in the boxes provided. Credit card information is subject to validation upon order processing. When you have completed your payment method information, continue to the last step by clicking on the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page. Step 3: Finalize Order To submit your online order, just click on the “Submit” button near the bottom of the page. After finalizing your order, you will get a “Thank You” screen and may click on the “Printable Version” link for an online receipt that you can print out. Your order confirmation will be sent to you via an email entitled “Buckingham Books Order Confirmation” and will NOT include attachments. |
