Blue gingham decorated cloth with titles and drawing on a yellow paper label affixed to the front cover, yellow front and rear endpapers, [10], 72 pp., numerous black & white illustrations by James plus five full-page color plates, with one being the frontispiece. A difficult title and as hard to find as the book "My First Horse." Former owner's bookplate on front pastedown sheet, two vertical creases to the front free fly leaf, fore-edges of pages 33-36 carelessly opened, else a very good copy in a lightly soiled dust jacket with small chips to the spine ends, light wear to the corners and extremities.
