History of Richmond, including information on schools, population, industries, police department, fire department, charities, churches, parks, hospitals, etc. Numerous beautiful black and white photographs of buildings, parks, houses, businesses, churches, etc. A nicely produced item. Fragile wrappers split 3" at both spine ends along with small chip missing from bottom corner of front wrapper and 1/4" x 2" piece missing from top corner. Chipping to edges of both wrappers. Interior minimally soiled.
