Publication: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Publishers, 1930, Indianapolis
First edition. Very good, clean copy in rubbed dust jacket with light chipping to the spine ends, small chips, nicks and creases to the extremities, vertical fold line to the front cover Hugh Morris Drake, an automobile manufacturer from Detroit, is found murdered in his hotel room. Drake had been traveling as a member of a small Round the World travel party. At first, the case seemed quite simple but, before Inspector Duff could discover any convincing evidence, the remainder of the travel party moved on, widening the distance between the murder site and the suspects. An attractive copy of the final Charlie Chan adventure.
