The first edition in book form of 14 newspaper pieces which had appeared in the Sunday editions of papers from the Syndicate, each dealing with a topic or incident in Western history: Kit Carson, Yellowstone Kelly, The Pony Express, The Fetterman Disaster, The Wagon Box Fight, Chief Joseph, The Texas Trail, etc... A true Russell rarity. Modest wear to edges of oversized wrappers, else a near fine copy in a custom clamshell box with titles stamped in red on front cover and spine.
